Adeline Black is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on business and employment matters.
Since joining AE&J, Addie has proven an invaluable member ofthe team. She is a strong writer and an experienced legal researcher whose work has played a large role in everything from settling disputes to defeating complex, case dispositive motions. Addie’s cases have involved a wide range of issues such as wage and hour disputes, breaches of contract, derivative claims, and failure to accommodate under the ADA.
Biography
Addie is a graduate of the UCLA School of Law. During her time at UCLA, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Law Library for professors whose specializations included § 1983 police reform actions and immigration. Addie was a founding member and Events Coordinator of the Fashion and Beauty Law Association, as well as a Chief Managing Editor and Events and Alumni Coordinator for the UCLA Journal of Gender & Law (formerly the UCLA Women's Law Journal).
Addie is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California.
